I learnt a very valuable lesson on Sunday 
I hadn’t run for about 2 months and went to the race for life yesterday morning thinking I would walk it, but as we arrived and the crowds gathered I thought actually why not try and run it.
I know I can run 5K as I’ve done the race for life twice before and so I decided to give it a go and guess what… I managed to run it all apart from the bridge over the river outside Kings College but it was a good excuse to stop and take a selfie. 
So my lesson from Sunday is to never underestimate yourself! Give it a go and you may just surprise yourself. I know I did on Sunday but once I started it lit a fire in me which was determined to succeed and I did!
